“Craft Club is very important to me, as it's like a place to let go. Sometimes I can just really unlike when I’m at home or school. I am very grateful to be able to come to Craft Club and I appreciate the effort that the teachers put in. Most of the day I have to put up with very pestering people and I love being able to unwind at Craft Club. I also enjoy being able to stay with my friends. I think the people who have Craft Club actually care. If I could, I would go to the studio in Somerville and to come Craft Club whenever possible.”

“I come to Craft Club because it makes me feel like home. Once I needed help on a project and they helped me so much. A lot of the time I am kinda sad at school but once I step in in the room a smile comes on my face. There was a Christmas party that Craft Club made and I took my sister, at first she didn't want to go but when she left the Christmas party she asked me, “Can I come to Craft Club, when will they have a party again?” The bad thing is, its only on Thursdays, if it were everyday I would come. I just love Craft Club. I hate writing but writing this was so fun because I love Craft Club. I am telling you to come to Craft Club before it closes. She does this for us and the school doesn’t pay for anything, she buys everything with her money. You get to meet new people too. Craft Club is the place to be.”

“After last block I speed through the hallways. I swerve my way through the crowd ignoring swears and yells. So far my day was one of my worst. Without thinking I slam open the door, zoom inside, and quickly reserve my seat. I can already hear the chatters of people entering and taking a seat. I could see tables full of people who you would’ve never thought would be friends. The aurora was light and fun. The door suddenly opens. Here is where all the magic starts. It starts with a woman. Children quickly leave their seats and rush over to her. ‘Ms Hagen, Ms Hagen can I help?’”. - Ace (Zinia)
